WHERE TO STAY

WHERE TO STAY ✿

We recommend staying or touring in the following neighborhoods:

EL POBLADO
Most recommended area that’s concentrated with tourists. Numerous restaurants, lively nightlife, many Airbnb’s or hotels, etc.

LAURELES
Another sought out touristy destination with a slightly more local and quieter vibe. But if you want to experience liveliness, visit the main strip of the Calle Setenta (70th Street) or visit Avenida Nutibara for many restaurant/bar options. Laureles can be a 20–40 minute Uber ride to El Poblado depending on traffic.

ENVIGADO/SABANETA
A great area if you want to be tucked away from the liveliness of the aforementioned neighborhoods and want something more residential. Envigado can be a 15–30 minute Uber ride from El Poblado, while Sabaneta can exceed the 30 minute mark.

Things to keep in mind

  • Traffic can be pretty heavy, particularly during rush hour and on weekends.

We’ll share hotel recommendations and room blocks soon.

Medellín is vibrant, creative, and full of life.

Whether you’re staying for a few days or turning this into a longer trip, here are some favorite ways to explore.

OUR STORY

OUR STORY ❃

We met, we fell in love, and somewhere along the way, we realized that the best moments of our lives were the ones shared with family, food, travels, laughter, and meaningful traditions.

Choosing Medellín felt right. Not only is it home to Alejandra, it’s a city full of warmth, beauty, and energy, a place that celebrates life openly and joyfully. Hosting our wedding here allows us to bring together the people we love most and share a tradition that means so much to us.
